Jeff
Shanholtzer is the Lead Estimator for Chalmers Corporation.
d.b.a. C.E.G. Construction and has been in the construction
industry for over 25 years. Mr. Shanholtzer was born
and raised in Lakewood, California and graduated in
1980 from David Starr Jordan High School. After graduating
from high school Mr. Shanholtzer attended Cerritos
College where he graduated from the International
Association of Bridge, Structural and Ornamental Ironworkers
Apprenticeship.
Mr. Shanholtzer has been
a member of the Iron Worker Local 433, Los Angeles
since 1980. Mr. Shanholtzer started as an apprentice
worked his way to journeyman status and eventually
became a foreman, superintendent. With hands-on
experience in heavy and specialized transportation,
crane, rigging, millwright services, structural
steel fabrication and erection, Mr. Shanholtzer
has traded in his extensive experience in the industrial
contracting industry to become an estimator for
Chalmers Corporation in 1991.
Mr. Shanholtzer, has given
himself a leading edge with bidding jobs, preparing
contracts, planning, purchasing materials, coordinating
sub-contractors, recruiting and hiring personnel,
coordinating and supervising several field crews,
with careful consideration to maintaining project
costs and schedules with the ability to foresee
hidden cost along with saving money for the prospective
buyer.
