Richard Lucas joined CEG Construction as Vice President of Construction in 2002. After graduating from Fullerton College with a degree in construction management and architectural design in 1977, Richard began his lifelong career in construction.

Richard was offered to be the successor of Lenard Wranosky, former Building Inspector of the City of Vernon in 1982. Throughout his 20 years with the City of Vernon he worked intimately with property and business owners, design professionals, and all City Departments particularly the Vernon Health Department on all matters concerning food processing and cold storage.

Richard became active with the Los Angeles Basin Chapter, International Conference of Building Officials. He was elected to the Board of Directors in 1999 and assumed the position of President in 2002. Richard continues to remain active with the now LA Basin Chapter ICC, recently having been awarded the Lifetime Honorary Member award in 2017.

Richard undertook the next chapter of his career joining CEG Construction to continue his passion for Design/Build construction.
